Dax D’Orazio
Dax D'Orazio is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Studies at Queen's University, a Research Affiliate with the Centre for Constitutional Studies, and a freelance investigative journalist. His academic research is primarily focused on the law, philosophy, politics, and policy of free expression. His doctoral dissertation was an analysis of the alleged 'crisis' of free expression on Canadian university campuses and his current research examines the law and politics of extending constitutional protections for expression to campuses. He is also completing a book project for the University of Toronto Press that offers an in-depth analysis of the politics of free expression in Canadian higher education and is member of the CFE's Working Group on Academic Freedom.
