Blayne Haggart is an associate professor of political science at Brock University, teaching in the field of International Relations and International Political Economy. He is the co-author (with Natasha Tusikov) of The New Knowledge: Information, Data, and the Remaking of Global Power (Rowman & Littlefield, 2023), and the author of Copyfight: The Global Politics of Digital Copyright Reform (University of Toronto Press, 2014). He is also the co-editor of two volumes on technology and internet governance. He has published extensively on the political economy of knowledge, in academic journals and in the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, the National Post, The Conversation, among other publications.
