Earlier this month, the school board had removed copies of the book because some parents had complained.

Mr. Ward is a stand-up comedian. In 2016, the tribunal fined him $42,000 for repeatedly joking about Jérémy Gabriel, a young singer who has a physical disability.   REPORTAGE

Nov. 19, 2018 — Ambulance New Brunswick is the 2018 recipient of the Code of Silence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Government Secrecy in the provincial category.

OTTAWA /  — The federal department of finance, headed by minister Bill Morneau, is the 2018 recipient of the Code of Silence Award for Outstanding Achievement in Government Secrecy in the federal category.

The Centre for Free Expression is pleased to announce that Renu Mandhane, Chief Commissioner of the Ontario Human Rights Commission is joining the CFE advisory board. Prior to her appointment as chief commissioner in October 2015, Ms. Mandhane was Executive Director of the International Human Rights Program at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. She has an LL.M in international human rights law from New York University. She is a member of the Canada Committee of Human Rights Watch.

Toronto: Today the Centre for Free Expression published Jon Thompson’s, “The Poverty of Economism: Disinformation and the Misuse of Social Science.” Thompson argues that a major source of disinformation worldwide is based on use and misuse of the social science of economics. Read full paper.
