Michèle Brill-Edwards In conversation with James L. Turk
After Michèle Brill-Edwards became Health Canada’s senior physician responsible for the regulation of clinical trials and market approvals of prescription drugs, she grew increasingly aware of the undue influence the pharmaceutical industry was having on the drug approval process, resulting in unreliable decisions endangering human lives. Unable to changes things internally, she resigned her position and told Canadians what was going on behind the scenes. Join Michèle in conversation with CFE Director, James L. Turk, about what happened, why this matters for all of us, and what can be done.
