Librarian
English Montreal School Board
Julia Stark has been a Librarian for 20 years. With an MA in English Literature from Wilfrid Laurier University, she came to Montreal in 2003 to attend McGill’s School of Information Studies. After graduating in 2005, she worked as a corporate Information Specialist, an academic Librarian, and headed a public children’s library. She had two children of her own, and discovered that school libraries fit her skills and lifestyle. Since 2016, she has been a high school Librarian, and thoroughly enjoys the work and the teenagers. Her special interests include programming for teens, collection development, and intellectual freedom.
