Doyun Kim

Doyun Kim (he/him) is a 2nd year JD student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. His prior degrees include undergraduate and Masters degrees in East Asian Studies, where he studied Korean political economy and protest methodologies during the Japanese imperial and Cold War eras. Doyun is interested in questions of academic freedom, gaps in legal protections, and institutional power through a legal lens. As a student, Doyun now balances his interest in studying health law, immigration law, and civil advocacy with his artistic hobbies where he organizes events for Ontario's beatboxing community.
